Today we finally managed to get round to making our video-storyboard, which, I think you will agree, looks quite good really! By doing this, we got a basic idea of what our video will hopefully look like. We made the video on Final Cut, so we got to know the basic layout of how to use it (surprisingly, it isn't actually as complicated as it first appears!)
The still shot of our actress playing the piano whilst the chorus plays will not actually be still, because, as you can see, it goes on for a very long time! Instead, we will try and pan around the piano whilst she plays, creating some visual interest. However, we did encounter a slight problem today with regards to the piano - Ickworth House (where we are planning to film) will be closed when we film, so the indoor scenes with the piano will have to be filmed somewhere else.
Update 24/12/10: I uploaded the video to YouTube to then embed on here, but within a day the soundtrack had been removed due to copyright infringement, therefore defeating the purpose of making the whole thing, so I have now tried using Vimeo, which will hopefully let us keep the music on there!
